LARGE SCALE RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

Cairn Homes Properties Limited intend to apply for permission for a Large-Scale Residential Development at this site within the townland of Blackparks, Athy, Co. Kildare. The development lands are located to the north of the Athy Distributor Road, east of Branswood residential estate and south of Tonlegee Lawns and Holm Croft residential estates, and west of Fortbarrington Road.

The proposed development will consist of minor amendments to the permitted Large Scale Residential Development KCC Reg. Ref. 23/656 and ABP-318365-23 (currently under construction) for reconstruction of the northern boundary wall between the subject site and Tonlegee Lawns, resulting in the omission of the pedestrian/cycle links as required by condition 3 of the ABP-318365-23 grant of permission. All associated works and landscaping treatments.

The remainder of the development will remain as permitted under KCC Reg. Reg. 23/656 and ABP-318365-23.

The planning application may be inspected or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, at the offices of Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare, during its public opening hours or on their website: www.kildarecoco.ie. A submission or observation in relation to the application may be made in writing to the Planning Authority on payment of the prescribed fee, €20, within the period of 5 weeks beginning on the date of receipt by the authority of the application, and such submissions or observations will be considered by the Planning Authority in making a decision on the application. The Planning Authority may grant permission subject to or without conditions or may refuse to grant permission.
